OVERVIEW:

The Direct Service Tribes (DST) Advisory Committee invites you to attend the DST's Fifth Annual National Meeting. The DST's Fifth Annual National Meeting will continue to focus on concerns identified by Tribal Leaders and the Direct Service Tribes Advisory Committee. In partnership between Tribal Leaders and the IHS, this meeting provides a forum in which health issues that impact Indian people served directly by the federally operated health system may be discussed on a national level.

This year’s meeting will focus on the current state and future of Direct Service Tribes, the IHS budget and contract health services. Open Space Technology, a group exercise that identifies issues, inspires solutions, improves communication and collaboration, will also be used during this session.
