The meeting will be held in the Masur Auditorium of Building 10 on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Campus in Bethesda, MD. Please enter through the South Entrance of Building 10.

Metrorail service is available from Washington's National Airport and from Union Station (railway). Take Metro's Red Line to the Medical Center Station. The station's escalators come out onto the NIH campus.

The NIH Gateway Center (Building 66) will be ahead of you. Proceed to the Gateway Center, which is open for pedestrians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After showing one form of government-issued photo ID (i.e., driver's license, passport) and speaking briefly with a Gateway Center staff member, you will receive an identification badge.

To get to the Clinical Center (Building 10), take the NIH campus shuttle bus (red line) which provides service to the South Entrance of the Clinical Center (Building 10) and stops at the Metro station every 15 to 20 minutes, OR walk from the top of the escalators past the bus stops down South Drive. Stay on South Drive, cross Center Drive, and continue walking for about a block to reach the South Entrance of Building 10.

Necessary Travel Information

When driving to NIH, plan extra time to get through the security checkpoints at the visitor entrances to campus. Be aware that visitor parking lots on the NIH campus can fill up quickly. Hence, the use of public transportation is strongly encouraged. The Washington, DC Metro-Rail system has a station right on the NIH campus, called "Medical Center", which can be accessed by using the Red Line train.

Please note there is no room block for this meeting. Participants are suggested to make reservations at the hotels below in close proximity to the NIH Campus. All attendees are responsible for securing their own lodging arrangements. Ground Transportation

Using the Metro
The Metro system is clean and reliable. It operates from 5:00am to 12:00 midnight, Monday through Thursday; 5:00am to 3:00am on Friday; 7:00am to 3:00am on Saturday; and 7:00am to 12:00 midnight on Sunday. Each passenger must buy a farecard to travel in the system. Guides for purchasing farecards are posted on the vending machines in each station. Each Metro car features a complete color-coded map. Station attendants on duty at each station can provide additional information on request.
